(1920) Unique Boxed Christian Devotional Set - Roman Missal & Two Leather Wallets

We are ofering here an unique French Christian Devotional Set from 1920's - Fine binding Roman Catholic Missal prayer book boxed together with Two Leather Wallets. Offered together in an original Wooden Protective Box with two Brass Clasps & Satin Interior.

The boxed set is consisted of: Leather Wallet for Vignettes, Leather Wallet for Coins and Christian Medalions, and Roman devotional book "Missal of Saint Therese of the Child Jesus" with color frontispiece. All 448 text pages of the Missal are richly illuminated and illustrated with different ornamentations and religious motives.

Size of the leather wallet: 9 x 5 cm (3.54" x 1.96"). Size of the wooden box: 25,7 x 19,5 cm (10.11" x 7.67"); Embossed leather binding. Gilt title to the spine. Spine with four raised bands. All page edges gilt. Wooden protective box with two brass clasps and satin interior; Text in French; Collation complete - Half-title, Color Frontispiece, Engraved title page, 448 pages; Full leather leather binding is tight and firm, overall in excellent condition, minimal signs of wear; with a few negligible surface scuffings mostly to the extremities, little bumped, a few small discoloration dots. Pages/Text block also in excellent condition, very clean and bright, only a few pages with light foxing dots. Overall the condition of the book is NEAR FINE. Two leather wallets also in excellent condition, well preserved, only little waving/rubbing to the larger one. Wooden protective box in very good condition, strong and tight, brass clasps and hinges whole and fully functional, minimaly worn and little dirty from use.
