Richly illustrated with Chromolithograph Frontispiece and 47 Chromolithographs Plates with portraits of famous Christian Catholic Saints. Chromolithographs illustrated by famous German painter and illustrator Moritz Kellerhoven and engraved by Lemercier et Cie (Paris). Enriched by a short textual Biography Notes from a life of all 48 Saints.

Gilt title to the spine. Spine with five raised bands; Text in French; Collation complete - Chromolithograph frontispiece, Title page, [viii], 534 pages, with 47 chromolithograph plates; Half-leather binding is tight and firm, overall in very good condition, with usual shelf wears, minor rubbing, slight scuffing to the extremities. Pages/Text block in excellent condition, clean and very bright, textual pages withot foxing or marks throughout, tissue guards and plates with slight yellowing and occasional negligible light foxing dots. Overall the condition of the book is VERY GOOD.
